Where Are The Pictures?

Ok, I have traveled extensively all over the web searching out my most favorite designers and artist. Looking at their Websites, their blogs and I feel that I stand naked amongst them!

There are stories, probably seem like excuses of why I have the plan Jane blog and an unfinished website. But that is all getting ready to Change! Yes, it is going to begin with a peek at my guest/art room. It is probably not as awesome as those that you see in "Where Women Work" published by Somerset Studio, but it is my little place. Please keep in mind I still find myself creating and doing all all over my apartment. It should be known as the artsy place where not only do I work, but live when I am not at my "real work".(How wonderful it would be to do this full time). One day maybe .. . .

I have just finished a major de-cluttering of this room and taking the awful bordello bed cover, which looked as if it had come straight from a southern bordello and so not my Wimsey fun self. I inherited from an almost former roommate.. A really long story. . . . for another place and time.

My best friend brought me a shower curtain that matched one I already had. So taking the my whimsical flamingo bathroom, and turned my guest/art/storage room into a great place to create and those creative forces that keep my mind swirling.

One curtain became the curtain over the big window. and the other a duvet cover. I only had to add some great polka-dotted strips and like making a giant pillow case, I had a one of a kind whimsical duvet. I made pillow covers to cover the matching pillows to the awful original cover.

Ok, let me try and put up picture one. Keep in mind this picture was taken by my phone camera. I have two sicko cameras and am waiting on one if my mentor can find discs t o fit it. Ughhhh. A good digi camera is on the top of my wish list! And of course another "story" to come



Secondly, I began putting alikes together,(papers, pens, fabrics, whirly-giggs,etc.) and a place for my printer and scanner. It is not perfect and I many things that need to be done to get the room better organized, but that will require several days of moving books and furniture and the Closet!! (Christmas Stuff is in "The Closet").

It's a start. Yeahhh - Expect lots more pictures, including journal pages and the grand piano cover I designed! It is so cool. And much, much more!!!
