Paths Within The Journey

Since December 11th of last year, the path on my journey changed dramatically. It all began when I made the choice of taking the interstate instead of the route through town. My intentions of going by the office of the apartment I live at, to ask them check out some issues in my apartment. That was the plan of action. Then a weekend of creating my annual Christmas Card with my two grandsons and finishing up the Christmas gifts - those trashy happies that are originals that I hoped everyone would love but you never know. Then one more week of work and Christmas Vacation begins!!!

Some ten minutes later the path I chose - without my permission - the path changed. An 18 wheeler came over into my lane of traffic and sent me flying. After hitting concrete pilings and heading straight for the other side of the interstate, my car some how ended somewhere in the median. A broken clavicle, a concussion, blood pouring out of a gash on the left side of my head and a car that will no longer be driven by anyone! The Path within my Journey Changed. . . . .

Since the accident, I have found many different paths that I had to take in order to get to an make since of where I was to be in my journey.

This weekend, I to reflect about paths, and choices within the journey that has been given to each of us the day we are born. Many of which are made for us and how we deal with them can open up many new paths and choices.

That is why I have decided to split my blog into two. EE's BlahBlahBlog will continue to be that of fun and artsy adventures. My new Blog will be serious - sometimes blunt thoughts from pondering that I believe need to be addressed, but many times we don't because we don't know how others might react. I will be posting my very first post sometime this week. So check out Paths Within The Journey This week I am working on my first post.

I look forward to hearing from you here at EE's Blah Blah Blog and Paths within the Journey!

I Did Not Lie!!!

I did not lie to you when I said that I was back. Although there seems to be some continued delay.

Not only have I not been able to wrap my head around exactly what I needed/or wanted to write. I knew i did not want to go down a path of negatives or complaints in this journey I have been forced to walk since my accident on December 11th.

Although, at this point it really looks as if my journey will have a major turn for the better, on February 16th I will be having surgery to repair the clavicle bone in my left shoulder. Soon I will be a Bionic Woman!!!

Last week in a moment of sheer exhaustion from pain coming from my body, I sent out an e-mail to many people I know that are prayer warriors. The pain is better but my whole body has been on rebellion for around a month now. Good News is the Dr. says he can fix my shoulder and pain will dissipate. Yeah.

As I move forward, I am beginning to get some direction on blogging and also some of my creative juices are beginning to flow again. Which is a great thing.

This year I am going to learn Adobe Illustrator! That is the other piece I have yet to wrap my head around. But soon I hope.

Lots of what I was going to do for Christmas, I put off until Valentine's Day, which I am now putting off until Easter!

Keep on coming back. I will be posting again in no time.

The Weatherman says that we will have lots of snow by tomorrow - I am still a little sceptical as he/she has predicted this before and it passed us by. But I will have my camera ready just in case.

Since December I have many photographs that need my attention so I can share them with you and get them out the door as gifts for now Eater and not Christmas.

One of the fun little things I did was during a impromptu cleaning of my desk drawer, I did a journal page of interesting little pieces and tidbits that should probably been sent to the garbage can, but ended up on my page. It is fun and I promise to scan soon and post. What is in your desk drawer????

I have collected a few this and that's that I want to use within my art journal. Maybe I will take time to "play" during my recovery period. In order not to be totally idle during this time, I picked up form the Library yesterday a few top list books to prose over. Maybe it will spark some reflections of a good blog?

While waiting for a Friend I picked up an interesting magazine for professionals in the hair industry. There was a most interesting article on the "Queen" of Color. She is a beautiful woman and has very high business taste when it come to doing "color" . . . . Now that's a woman I want to do my color!!

Seriously. Here's a couple of quotes from her. "Drive is what separates achievers from everyone else!". . . very true.

"Don't look at the stupid fence, look over it - Look past it - Throw your heart over first and then jump after it." (This actually came from her horse trainer, but you know THIS WILL PREACH!!!!!

And this is great! "Failure is not an option". . . . . Now this one will also preach.

There you go a few explanations and a few tidbits of I have picked up along the way on this journey. . . . . .

Keep coming back and you won't be disappointed.
