What is it about a journal that makes it really intimidating? The fresh new blank pages, the sound you hear when you first open your journal. That catch in your throat as you realize that it becomes really personal as soon as you put that first Word, that first swipe of paint, etc. All of a sudden it is defined! Well maybe!
After pouring over all those wonderful creative art books and visiting lots of new websites, seeing how others "create", I spent the majority of my late night evenings this weekend, cleaning up and organizing my "stuff" so to speak. It is all I could think about as I left my office this afternoon.
While cleaning and de-cluttering, I cam across a wonderful annual scrapbook (2005) - (6" by 6"), I had few random dates and a couple of notes. It is just the perfect size to turn into a really awesome Whimsical Art Journal.
I took a deep breath and began rummaging though a stash of fabric, paper scraps and whirley giggs. I spotted the paper - white with little dots in all sorts of colored dots.PERFECT!! YES!! "EE's Connect The Dots Art Journal!
There you have it - A little 6" X 6" spiral- art journal just waiting to be filled!
