Is Your Glass Half Full or Half Empty

I was going to write a delicious expo on all the cameras I have had through my life, but will wait until I can find some really cool pictures that will give you the ole "flamingo-eye" view of my dramatic antics when posing as a child and some I have taken. You will want to return often with great anticipation for you will not know what antics I will share or what trashy happys I will pass on for your enjoyment. But just a little while longer for the Camera stories. Also, I will have some new pictures I took tonight while playing with my ole 35mm camera. It will be lots of fun!!!

In anticipation of turning sixty not long ago (hard to believe isn't it), it was one of my goals to embrace each day as a blank canvas and fill it with good thoughts and fun celebrations of all those little happenings we pass by and seeing all of my glasses as being not just half full but over flowing. Well, as you know all good plans come to a halt every once in awhile and the glass begina to creeps to half empty. So what does one do? Plan B - Plan C until you get to Plan Z.

It is always those little events that seem to make our glass slosh over. Like finding a mess left in your office by a co-worker that was in a hurry and did not take time to at least take her trash bag iwht her. Inside you want to take the bull by the horns - but wait, do you want to really be like all those others with half full glasses, grumbling and mumbling and taking on the little ant hills or is it mole hills. That is what makes our glass half empty and before long it it totally empty and we regret and forget what we have stood for.

Would it not be so much more fun to just give out "Get Out of Jail Free" cards just for fun, overlooking others faults and short comings. Would you not like to have a bunch of those "Get out of Jail Free" cards for yourself? To keep your glass half full and better yet over flowing? That's what I want in my next sixty years.

We all have had the opportunity to look into the faces of children, whose eyes are wide with anticipation and wonder. Their smiles are real and they just don't have half filled glasses. They are always (for the most part) filled to over flowing.

Our lives are filled with lots of circumstances that are not fun to deal with, but we have to take it one step at a time and allow those little circumstances to pass with a "Get Out of Jail Free Card", fill some one's glass to over flowing and you will always find your glass brimming over.

Remember - Check back often, as you never know what wonderful whimsical post you will find from me next. Pictures will be forth coming and more creative ideas to inspire you and to keep your glass brimming over with laughter.

Tell me - is your glass half full or half empty and what are you doing to fill it to brimming over?

Wow, this was a great post. I'm not sure what plan I'm on now... perhaps still A? Or B? But it's great to hear from someone who's been through a few more. My glass is definitely half full!
