Today I celebrate just being apart of today!
Each morning I wake up determined to pour positive encouragement into the lives of others because so many do the same for me. Each of us is given the same amount of time each day. What we do with that time can be crucial in the lives of others.
So much of what we read and hear is negative - from the new media, from those that we come in contact with - whether in person or through a social network like facebook.
Here are some typical negatives:
Mondays - Having to get up - Having to go to work - Having to go to School - the list goes on and on - and includes things that irritate us about others.
Why not just enjoy each day. I had a friend on facebook comment about his grandchild telling him that he was their BFF. Now that is the BESTEST!
This morning I struggled with the positive/negative "feelings". My Bossman took a few minutes and didn't criticized but just listened. He could have blown me off but he didn't. Then I read the note from my friend about his grandchild. And I smiled.
What are the things that make you smile? What are the positives of your day? My foster mother use to sing to me and I have sung to my children and friends, the ole song - You've got to Accent the positive - Element the negative - Latch on to the affirmative and don't mess with Mr. InBetween.
Today - I paint my blank page with smiles and the faces of my grandchildren and the faces of my precious children, friends and my Bossman! Adding the embellishments of breath,having another day to give back to others, a job to go to and transportation to get there - a home and being able to just twirl! Last but not at all least, my Abba Father, who makes it all possible and who furnishes me with the day - even Mondays.
