TV Baby

Television has been apart of my life since I was knee high to a duck. My folks had the first television in the neighborhood.

Just recently, while on a holiday, visiting my brother, I noticed he had the cabinet the very first television we had in his bedroom. The original television is long gone.

Here is a little picture of it.

The cabinet is beautiful even today.

One television we had was a portable that sat on a stand with rollers. Now mark my word. Common sense was not apart of the moment, as this story follows:

The television sat between the living room and dining room. Somehow I thought it would be such fun to "ride" the television. But when I too a leap, it fell over and literally exploded - sending my brother running aout the front door. It was a wonder I was not hurt, but only the television and the screen was in millions of pieces. Who knows what I was thinking.

Over the years, we have had different televisions, at one time my parents even had a small one in their kitchen, so they could watch the news during dinner.

Today televisions come in all shapes, sizes, styles.

Programs and Commercials have involved into every subject one can imagine. Which could take up many new blogs - but for now I just wanted to walk down memory lane. . .

On a different note. I rearranged some containers and dresser drawers to help utilize the art rooms space. I am contemplating finding several dressers in different sizes and shapes, painting them some great colors and storing my supplies and papers to make the room better organized - am also looking at building a cool desk either in my living room or dining room, to work on. The art room seems somewhat confined. . . . . Any suggestions?
